Orthopedics and Traumatology

Orthopedics is a medical specialty that deals with the skeletal system and muscles.  Orthopedic specialists diagnose and treat a variety of conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.  This specialty deals with a range of conditions such as fractures, dislocations, joint and spine diseases, and sports injuries.  Additionally, orthopedic specialists can also perform surgeries and surgical procedures.  Its aim is to maximize patients’ mobility and functionality and improve their quality of life.
